JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk has been established in 1919. Experience and knowledge in the field of designing, manufacturing and commissioning of steam boilers and equipment of boiler island as well as available staff of highly skilled specialists and own production areas allow us to remain as one of the leaders in power machine building of Russia.

We position ourselves as a group of companies included:
- JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk (ZIO), Podolsk, Moscow region, (marketing, engineering, project management; personnel – 240 men, total factory area – 3000 m2)
and production areas:
- JSC Kashira Steel Structures and Boiler Building Plant, Kashira, Moscow region (total area – 56030 m2, production space – 40.165 m2, personnel – 701 men, capacity – up to 12.000 tons of steel structures and heating surfaces per year. Since 2009 – additionally up to 6.000 - 8.000 tons of pressure parts per year).
- CJSC Stroytechnika, Podolsk, Moscow region (total area – 12920 m2, production space – 6156 m2, personnel – 142 men).
- CJSC ZIOSAB, Podolsk, Moscow region (total area – 7245 m2, production space – 6193 m2, personnel – 273 men).
- Plant of Power Equipment ZIOSAB-DON Ltd., Volgodonsk, Rostov region (total area – 10000 m2, production space – 4500 m2, personnel – 137 men).
Total area and personnel of JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk production subdivisions are 57014 m2 and about 1500 men respectively.
As of today ZIO have produced approximately 700 steam boilers of different capacity and parameters for 146 domestic and foreign TPPs with total power above 66 million kW, including over 13,2 million kW for export. Our boilers operate well on thermal power plants of Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, China, Romania, countries of former Yugoslavia etc.
For the last ten years there has been made package of works on creation of heat recovery steam generators of different types and capacities for combined cycle plants (from 20 MW to 450 MW). There has been designed and put into operation heat recovery steam generator П-92 for PO Naftan, Belorus with capacity of 20 MW; boiler П-90 for TPP Northwest, Russia with capacity of 450 MW; boiler П-91 for TPP Dzerzhinskaya, Russia with capacity of 150 MW.
At the present time ZIO successfully realize 12 actual contracts/agreements with Russian and foreign partners for development of engineering design, delivery of equipment, supervision and commissioning of HRSG equipment for: GRES Ivanovo (CCP 325 MW); TPP-22 Yuzhnaya (TGK-1); St. Petersburg (CCP 450 MW); TPP-5 Pravoberezhnaya (TGK-1); St. Petersburg (CCP 450 MW); TPP Southwest (TGK-1); St. Petersburg (CCP 200 MW); TPP-14 Pervomayskaya (TGK-1); St. Petersburg (CCP 2x180 MW); TPP Sisak-C, Croatia (CCP 230 MW); Boiler house of Kursk northwest region (CCP 123,6 MW) etc. as well as steam boilers for solid fuel combustion for power plant of 330 MW at PP Aksu, Kazakhstan.
